Hicans
Can be a cross between either Shagbark or Shellbark Hickory crossed with Pecan which produces a Hican.
- KSU Premier Hican – A Hican selected at the KSU farm and research facility by Jeremy Lowe the nut has a wide cavity, thin shell and easy to crack and the tree is vigorous and precocious. Needs a Pecan to pollinate the trees, it is a Shagbark Hybrid.
